Registered Nurse- General Adult Unit

Location: Hospital – Towson, 6501 N. Charles Street, Towson, MD 21204, USA. Description General Adult Unit is a nationally and internationally recognized program for the treatment of individuals with a variety of mental health conditions. Our program utilizes an intensive multi‑disciplinary treatment approach through individual therapy, milieu therapy, and process‑oriented, experiential, and psycho‑educational group therapies. Responsibilities Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans. Administer medical treatment as prescribed by a physician. Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families. Provide day‑to‑day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff. Document and report patient progress to the treatment team. Qualifications Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland (or a compact state) at the time of appointment and continuously while in position. Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred. All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $37.08 minimum to $56.83 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
