Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to provide exceptional mental health support in a fast-paced Acute Care environment. The selected candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients in the emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis risk assessments for both adults and pediatric patients.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to create comprehensive care plans.
• Float between various units as required based on staffing needs.
• Work effectively in a Level II Trauma Center environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires working every other weekend, specifically on Saturday and Sunday. The working hours are from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license or an associate license accepted.
• Experience in crisis risk assessments for diverse populations, including adults and children.
• Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidimensional environment.
• Open to contract lengths of 13 or 26 weeks.

Additional Information

• Normal staffing ratio is 7 patients per social worker.
• No on-call duties required; initial orientation hours are non-billable.
• Charting is completed using Epic software.
• No parking fees are associated with this position.
