Paramedic

Overview Department: Emergency Schedule: Full-Time, Day 12-Hour Shift/ Rotating Weekends Hospital: St. Mary of Nazareth Location: Chicago, IL 60622 Responsibilities The EMT-Paramedic is responsible for the assessment and basic management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and / or physician. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Basic EMT-P Registry E.R. experience preferred Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. CPI within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually. ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current. PALS certification upon hire and maintain current. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $30.41. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
