We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Polisher with the below qualifications: Professional Attributes Neat, organized and have the desire to chase perfection even when it is not obtainable Meet scheduled hours and dates of all tasks, with the goal of completing tasks ahead of schedule Utilize machinery & prioritize equipment usage to obtain the quickest lead times Maximize efficiency by working to minimize setup and run times in all machines Maintain an attitude of Continuous Improvement. Make suggestions for improvements Operate and demonstrate ability on all polishing equipment and techniques Assure that the quality of work is to the satisfaction of the internal customer (Tool makers) & Westfall Engineering guidelines Inspect and check component tolerances Utilize print as necessary to polish parts per finish requirements and within tolerance Adjust schedule as needed within the department to maximize output and reduce lead times under the direction of the Tooling Manager Additional duties as assigned Desired Skills And Experience Two-year Technical degree preferred or experience as a close tolerance mold polisher, preferred Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to operate polishing equipment. Can be learned on the job.
