Cost Analyst

Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Professional Recruiter at TRC Talent Solutions As a Cost Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and optimizing vehicle parts costs. Your main responsibilities include tracking cost changes, providing financial reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency. Strong accounting, analytical, and system skills are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Material Cost Analysis Calculate and track material costs for new and existing vehicles. Analyze cost variances by vehicle and supplier. Assess cost impacts from tariffs, raw materials, and labor. Support pricing decisions with Procurement and Commercial teams. Forecast procurement costs and evaluate cost impacts on profitability. Investment Budget Management Manage the tooling budget for new vehicle development. Oversee tooling compliance. Value Analysis & Cost Optimization Track and report cost-saving proposals from buyers and suppliers. Identify cost reduction opportunities through vehicle breakdown events. Oversee material cost re-evaluation reporting. Manage SAP retro-processing and coordinate implementation with Finance. Additional Responsibilities Maintain organized documentation and processes.
