Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab specialty position is located in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves working in a specialized unit dedicated to cardiac catheterization, interventional, and procedural services. The position requires the ability to perform a variety of clinical skills, including blood product administration, cardioversion, and diagnostic cardiac catheterization. Candidates will support a fast-paced environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Depending on staffing and vacation, hours can vary from 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, with additional days and weekends per month.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support); 2 years of clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting; valid clinical practice in blood and blood products administration, cardioversion, and procedural sedation; minimum of 0 years of experience; location in Washington state.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience assisting with central line insertion/management, interpreting/monitoring dysrhythmias, and managing hypothermia protocols.
• Patient Ratios: Not specified.
• Additional Information: The position requires a minimum of two references covering one year (six months for certified nursing assistants) within the last three years during the compliance process and prior to start. A minimum of one weekday and one weekend shift per month is expected. The unit supports adult and geriatric patients with a daily census and two patient rooms on site.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Skills include assisting with central line insertion/management, blood product administration, cardioversion, chest tube placement, and monitoring surgical sedation. Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, biopsies, GI; GU/renal, and peripheral vascular procedures is required.
