Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Medical-Surgical unit serving ortho, general, urology, and ENT patient populations
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 during day/PM shifts
• Float to like units as needed within the health system
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined
• Be available for on-call assignments during low census periods; call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• ADN or BSN degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg and/or Orthopedic nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with urology and ENT patient populations
• Ability to adapt to change, manage varying census levels, and thrive in a dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team approach
