Assess individuals from pediatric to geriatric populations utilizing both standard assessment methods and observational techniques.

Create tailored treatment plans aimed at fulfilling both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.

Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that target communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.

Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise cohesive care strategies.

Provide education to patients and families to promote progress beyond the clinical setting.

Support with occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment process.

Maintain thorough and timely documentation that abides by state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Remain on the cutting edge of the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be achieved within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies suitable for a wide age range, coupled with a deep understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Outstanding communication abilities to effectively engage patients, their families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Capacity to modify therapy techniques to accommodate various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and standards of documentation.
