Who You Are

You’re a board-certified physician with Family Medicine or Internal Medicine experience who enjoys combining patient care with clinical leadership. You value continuity, collegial collaboration, and sound clinical judgment, and you’re interested in having a voice in how care is delivered- without endless layers of bureaucracy. You’re comfortable collaborating with experienced Nurse Practitioners, stepping in when needed on more complex cases, and helping ensure patients receive thoughtful, consistent care. You’re drawn to practices that are well-run, stable, and evolving alongside the communities they serve.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll balance direct patient care with clinical leadership and collaboration. As the Medical Director, you will:

· Maintain a personal patient panel, with visit volume adjusted for patient complexity
· Serve as the collaborating and supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners
· Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and clinical decision support as needed
· Assist with complex case consultation and prescription management
· Partner with clinic and medical operations leadership on clinical standards and quality initiatives
· Participate in clinical policy input and provider support efforts
· Work closely with experienced administrative and clinical staff to support efficient workflows and a positive patient experience

The position is currently structured as approximately three days per week, with flexibility to expand to full-time for the right candidate.

The practice currently serves a predominantly older adult population and is intentionally expanding services to include younger patients and families across the lifespan, in alignment with Greenville’s growth as a bedroom community in the greater Dallas area.

Nationally, the practice is supported by MyTown Health Partners providing financial stability and shared infrastructure, while clinic leadership and providers remain closely involved in day-to-day clinical operations and decision-making. Clinic hours are Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with early closure at noon on Fridays.
