Our heritage is in electrohydraulic and electromechanical actuation systems and now, through acquisitions and internal development.Here’s what you’ll need to bring with:Bachelor’s in engineering3 years of experience in the system development and integrationExperience working in team environmentStrong attention to detailHigh level of motivation and willingness to learnStrong work ethicAbility to access US export-controlled informationAbility to obtain a U.S. security clearanceIt would be great if you also had:Turret fire control systems design, integration, and test experienceMATLAB/Simulink expertiseActive DoD Security ClearanceHere’s what you’ll be working on day to day:Be responsible for the system design of environmentally robust, high reliability liner and rotary actuators.Evaluate the system design using a variety of engineering disciplines to include mechanical, structural dynamics, electrical, thermal and rotary motion leading to development of integrated electromechanical systems and electromechanical motion systems.Based on fundamental engineering principles, predict the system level performance of candidate approaches and select the optimum approach to specific applications.Lead an integrated product development team to insure timely and successful project completion.Understand/interpret customer specifications and requirements.Ability to travel up to 25% depending on mission requirement.
