- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their desired functional goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage proven practices to enhance clients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
- Engage in Collaborative Care: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic support.
- Educate and Empower: Provide insights and training to patients and caregivers on effective therapy methods and ongoing support strategies.
- Monitor Progress: Observe and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track toward their goals.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and will be supported
- Current Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A genuine passion for helping individuals reach their fullest potential for independence
- Strong, empathetic communication skills with patients and fellow healthcare professionals
