The ideal candidate must be well versed in quality control inspections and tests, including nondestructive testing techniques, mechanical testing, dimensional inspection, pressure testing and coating inspections. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons./ppShift/Schedule:/ppAll inspectors are utilized on an Adhoc basis and are not provided daily duties. All needs are based on our clients needs and we source inspectors based on availability, location, taxonomy approvals, and specific client requests./ppWhat youll do:/pulliShaft Balance, Rotor Stack Balance, Rotor ERO/MRO, Residual Unbalance, and Rotor Final Balance/liliPerform inspections or audits and reviewing testing for conformance to Client specifications, industry standards, and approved procedures and reporting of results/liliReview material test reports to conformance with applicable codes and standards/liliPerform the follow-up of dispositions and corrective actions related to non-conformances/liliDocument inspection activities in electronic formats/liliEvaluate and agree upon project quality procedures, standards, and specifications ensuring that all parties (engineering, procurement, manufacturing) are adhering to them/liliReview Inspection Testing Plans to ensure a standardized minimum level of surveillance in accordance with the contractual requirements. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties./ppMinimum Requirements Qualifications:/pulliAramco Certified QM27 is preferred/liliHigh School Diploma or GED, Trade School, On-The-Job Training or University Diploma/lili5+ years of third-party vendor inspection, expediting or auditing experience/liliExperience in quality control inspections and tests, including nondestructive testing techniques, mechanical testing, dimensional inspection, pressure testing and coating inspections/liliTechnical training in subjects, such as, but not limited to quality, NDT, blueprint reading, industry standards, auditing, expediting, materials, welding, coatings, electrical components, instrumentation, pressure testing, well control, equipment operation and assembly/liliMust have experience with Mechanical/Pressure Vessels and lifting equipment/liliMust have basic knowledge of material properties/liliPossess clear understanding of basic procurement and fabrication processes with knowledge of relevant codes and specifications for the oil and gas industry/liliAbility to travel frequently throughout the continental US/liliValid drivers license and reliable driving record is required/liliProficient in MS Office programs and Outlook/li/ulpPreferred Requirements Qualifications:/pulliValid Industry Certification preferred Examples of such certifications include, but not limited to: AWS CWI, API 510, 570, SI, (Source Inspector), Electrical Journeyman License, NACE CIP 1, 2, 3, EMA (Expediting Management Association) Basic, Advanced, ASNT NDT Level II, III, and ASQ or IRCA Certified Auditor/li/ulpIntertek: Total Quality.
