Speech Pathologist, (SLP) PRN

Position Overview Facility Name: Community Rehabilitation Hospital North. Schedule: PRN, with weekend availability. As a Speech Pathologist at Lifepoint Rehabilitation, you will help make communities healthier by providing exceptional care to patients recovering from speech, language, or communication disorders. How You’ll Contribute Perform patient assessment. Establish a plan of care. Provide care in accordance with physician's orders and established plan of care. Assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify treatment to achieve goals. Plan for patient discharge; communicate with patient, family, caregivers, significant other, and members of the healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals and promote maximum benefits of care. What We’re Looking For A Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association, along with the following qualifications: Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA), or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).
