Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Technician
Join a team focused on uptime, safety, and product integrity. Your mission: keep production and facility assets performing at their best while meeting rigorous food safety, quality, and throughput goals. You’ll collaborate daily with Operations and Quality to maintain a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.
Impact you will make- Execute preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment per schedule.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures to reduce downtime.
- Install and modify equipment as operations evolve.
- Perform routine inspections to verify safety, reliability, and performance.
- Document all work with precise maintenance logs that meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance so maintenance actions align with food safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement by recommending process and equipment upgrades.
- Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and use PPE correctly at all times.
- Pursue ongoing training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Pneumatics troubleshooting
- Maintenance and repair fundamentals
- Electrical schematic reading
- Equipment repair and preventive maintenance
- Equipment installation experience
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Conveyor systems
