This travel assignment is in a hospital setting serving adult and pediatric inpatients, including ICU, NICU, and PICU units. The role requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist credential and provides a full 16-week contract with nights and weekend coverage as needed.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed respiratory care to adult and pediatric inpatients, including assessment, therapy, and monitoring
- Manage mechanical ventilation and ventilator weaning, monitor respiratory status, and adjust therapy as ordered
- Perform airway management, suctioning, nebulized therapies, chest physiotherapy, and other associated procedures
- Document care and patient outcomes in the EMR (Epic) and communicate findings to physicians and the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate across inpatient units (Adult ICU, NICU, PICU, and general floors); participate in rounds; respond to changes in patient condition; uphold safety and infection control protocols
- Weekend coverage as needed; no on-call requirement; flexible scheduling to support patient needs

Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) required; CRT will not be accepted
- NBRC verification and AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting with flexible weekend availability
