Job Description Job Description - Registered Nurse PRN-Pediatrics (7416-5112) Registered Nurse PRN-Pediatrics - 7416-5112 Memorial Medical Center of Las Cruces Description The RN provides compassionate care demonstrating thefive basic caring processes in all interactions with patients and theirfamilies. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame providing care to his/herassigned patients utilizing the nursing process, taking a leadership role inprioritizing and coordinating care with other health care team members. The RNprovides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns,children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups. Qualifications Minimum Education: Graduate of a School of Nursingprogram. Minimum Experience:Experience in an acute care facility preferred. ForPediatrics : Completion of PALSwithin six (6) months of employment. ForNew Hires : Required certificationmust be obtained with in (1) year of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification. ACLS : is required for all areas where moderatesedation is performed.
