Quality Technician

Job Title Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Accountable for day-to-day floor quality support of operations and quality management including: Cross functional collaborating with production, and departments to lead quality support in manufacturing/assembly Maintain non-conforming material log and quality alert reports Perform audits and validate any corrective actions to prevent recurrence Record inspection results with use of hand gauges, electronic based scanning and optical systems to verify product conformity Manage and support calibration, recertification and release of inspection devices to production Working with Plant Team to implement methods for process control and continuous process improvement Working with Plant Team to document and record any repair process instructions Using PLEX ERP for NC warehouse and quality documentation Attending and Supporting Daily GEMBA review with additional Quality Department duties as assigned Skillful in planning, prioritizing, and organizing Detail oriented and urgency in achieving results Qualifications Reads and understands test standards and testing technology for test methods for electronics Understanding of assembly with knowledge of laboratory standard test methods Previous solder experience with IPC 7711/7721 training/certification Experience and Education Requirements 2+ years of experience in electronics in quality testing, laboratory testing, or similar Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering, or a scientific discipline Proficient with Teams, Outlook and other Microsoft App's; Experience with ERP systems is a plus We offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
