Role Overview As a Full Stack Software Engineer at 4MINDSAI, you will design and build the systems that bring the 4MINDS platform to life across the full technology stack. You'll own features from API design and backend services through to the interfaces that enterprise users interact with daily, working across a modern cloud‑native architecture that spans multiple deployment environments. This is a senior‑level role for an engineer who has built production systems at enterprise scale and knows what it takes to ship reliable, maintainable software in a fast‑moving environment. You'll report to the Engineering Manager and work closely with product, AI research, and infrastructure teams to deliver high‑impact features on a platform where reliability and performance are non‑negotiable. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and ship full‑stack features across the 4MINDS platform, owning work from backend services and APIs through to frontend interfaces Architect scalable, maintainable systems that integrate with the 4MINDS knowledge graph, data pipeline, and AI services Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumers Develop real‑time data flows and WebSocket connections that surface AI model outputs to end users Design and maintain database schemas and queries optimized for performance at enterprise data volumes Implement secure authentication, authorization, and audit capabilities that meet enterprise compliance requirements Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design systems and reusable component libraries Build and maintain microservices within a multi‑cloud and on‑premises deployment architecture Establish and uphold testing standards, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architecture decisions Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards across the team Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field 5+ years of professional full‑stack development experience building and shipping production systems Strong proficiency in any/many of the following: React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python (FastAPI), and/or Go Experience designing and building RESTful and GraphQL APIs Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases including schema design and query optimization Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and security patterns in enterprise applications Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices Proven track record of building enterprise‑grade applications with high reliability and performance requirements Ability to work autonomously and drive technical decisions without constant direction Clear written and verbal communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Deep ownership mindset: you care about outcomes, not job titles Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field 7+ years of professional full‑stack development experience Experience building interfaces or backend services for AI/ML platforms Familiarity with knowledge graphs, RAG systems, or real‑time data infrastructure Experience with multi‑cloud environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure Experience with on‑premises or private cloud deployment architectures Background with WebSocket or streaming architectures for real‑time data Track record of establishing engineering standards or technical practices on a team Experience with microservices architecture at enterprise scale Compensation Base salary range: $140,000 - $180,000 annually Competitive equity package in venture‑backed startup Performance‑based bonus structure Annual merit‑based salary reviews Stock Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (80% employer‑paid) Unlimited PTO policy with 15 days minimum 11 paid company holidays Professional Development Annual training and certification budget Access to online learning platforms Conference attendance opportunities Regular internal technical workshops and knowledge sharing sessions Work Environment Onsite at Dallas HQ 5 Days a week High‑performance workstations Modern office space in Dallas with standing desks and ergonomics equipment Monthly team events and learning sessions Collaborative in‑office environment fostering innovation and teamwork Process Interview with Recruiter (30‑60 minutes) Interview with Hiring Manager (30 minutes)Technical Interviews and Presentation (half or full day) Interview with CEO (30 minutes) Apply Now Detailed Resume GitHub profile or code samples Portfolio of relevant work Brief cover letter describing your development experience References from previous roles 4MindsAI is an equal opportunity employer.
