At Wags and Whiskers in Little Rock, AR, we’re passionate about providing the best care for our furry friends, and we’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Dog Handler to join our team. If you’re patient, kind, are energetic and are comfortable in a busy enviroment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Part-Time Dog Handler, your role will be all about ensuring the happiness, safety, and well-being of the dogs in our care. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and interacting with dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
• Caring for dogs, rain or shine, so must be comfortable in all weather conditions.
• Monitoring dog behavior and addressing any issues with patience and care.
• Maintaining a clean and organized environment for the dogs.
• Providing lots of love and attention to our four-legged clients.

We’re seeking someone who shares our passion for dogs and brings the following qualities to the table:

• Physically fit : You’ll need to be on your feet and walking for the entire shift. 6 hours.
• Patient and kind : Dogs come in all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, and we need someone who can handle them with care and understanding. There is no place for ego with dogs.
• Weather-ready : Whether it’s sunny, rainy, or chilly, you’ll need to be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
• No prior experience is necessarily required—just a genuine love for dogs and a willingness to learn.
