Phlebotomist Dedicated phlebotomist required for blood collection via venipuncture and capillary technique for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and difficult draws in inpatient and medical office settings, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and providing orientation and training to staff. Responsibilities Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique for patients of all ages. Manage pediatric blood collections and difficult draws in medical office buildings. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and communicate importance to colleagues. Provide orientation and training for patient service procedures. Process specimens for inpatient settings. Essential Skills High School Diploma. CPT 1 License. Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting, including pediatrics, ICU, and high volume environments. Willingness to work on-call and same-day shifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in inpatient settings is beneficial. Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to rotate between inpatient and outpatient settings with a high volume of patients. Work Environment Primarily evening shift with flexibility to cover AM and NOC shifts. Locations include Murietta, Moreno Valley, and Riverside, with weekly rotations. Dress code: scrubs. Minimum 30 hours per week after training. Training during 1st shift, Monday–Friday, at a single location for first few weeks. Flexible shift pick-up across locations. Per diem and on-call work with potential split shifts or cancellations on short notice. Work Type & Location Contract to Hire, Riverside, CA. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
