Barista/Confectionary Sales - Full Time (Burnet Rd)

Yummi Joy Job Opportunity

Born out of Austin's iconic 30+ year old toy store Toy Joy, Yummi Joy is a vegan friendly Espresso Bar, Ice "Cream", and confectionary shop. We make our own fudge in house, and proudly serve Gati's Vegan Ice Cream made here in Austin (you seriously wont believe how delicious it is). We exclusively brew Little City Coffee (another Austin Native), create milkshakes and sodas as well as offer a wide variety of nostalgic and international candy. We are independently owned retail at its best, striving to make a harmonious, safe place for people to work and shop.

What are the perks of joining the Yummi Joy team?

• We are fully inclusive and welcome the opportunity to work with you as you are.
• We offer paid time off with flexible schedules
• Subsidized medical insurance benefits that begin 60 days into your position
• We provide you with a free monthly bus pass or onsite parking
• Access to a free employee assistance program (read: free mental health care!) begins the day you are hired and continues until 6 months after your last day of employment, and is accessible to anyone in your household.
• A generous employee discount at all of our stores (about 50% off!) as well as a free coffee or ice cream with each shift
• Working with an iconic retail family of Wild About Music, Toy Joy, and Austin Rocks
• Our team is given creative freedom to create dynamic displays, social media posts and create new menu items. If you have FOH coffee, confectionary or food experience, are sick of working for big corporate - and you're looking for a place to call your own and make your mark, this is a great place to start.
