Sales Associate

Role Overview We’re a locally owned and family-operated mattress company committed to helping our community sleep better—one person at a time. We're looking for an upbeat, friendly, and dependable team member to join our growing Comfort Coach team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, wants to build their sales skills, and is eager to learn more about sleep, health, and wellness. No mattress knowledge required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know! We also pay commission on all sales. Job Responsibilities Serves customers by helping them understand and select products. Drives sales through the engagement of customers and sharing product knowledge. Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner. Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records. Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards. Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise. Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest. Present, promote, and sell products/services using a proven, easy-to-navigate sales system. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for customers to meet their needs. Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments. Required Skills Sales experience is needed. Basic computer skills. Highly motivated and target-driven. Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to truly listen to customers and help them according to their wants and needs. Relationship management skills and openness to feedback. Schedule Weekend availability. License/Certification Driver’s License (Required). Work Location Part-time, sales position within our store.
