From designing resilient highways and iconic bridges to advancing transit, passenger and freight rail, aviation, federal transportation ports and marine infrastructure, your work will directly support economic vitality, public safety, sustainable and resilient communities and quality of life. In the role of Land Surveyor, we'll count on you to:

• Assist in field layout and measurement
• Prepare base maps
• Perform standard calculations to determine elevation, areas and volumes from field survey notes
• Use standard tapes and electronic field equipment in a fashion consistent with accepted rules
• Perform basic calculations from field note data, and read, interpret and use topographic maps and design drawings
• Demonstrate understanding of basic survey or CAD computer applications

This position is subject to a preemployment drug test. Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience with AutoCAD
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
