We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical and Health Services Manager to join our healthcare team. This role will oversee the daily operations of healthcare facilities or a specific department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management for departments or facilities. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and policies, including local, state, and federal guidelines. Recruit, train, and manage healthcare staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development. Prepare and monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize financial performance through resource allocation and cost-effective practices. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance patient care quality, safety, and service delivery. Implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, health outcomes, and efficiency of care delivery. Analyze and report on performance metrics, utilizing data to drive continuous improvement in healthcare services. Serve as a liaison between staff, patients, families, and the community, ensuring clear communication and addressing concerns as needed. Education & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of management experience in a healthcare setting, with strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, operations, and quality standards. Skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Proficient in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledgeable in healthcare information systems and data management. Familiar with healthcare regulations, compliance, and risk management. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically to a range of stakeholders. Analytical skills: Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets to support decision-making and strategic planning. Licensure and Certification Certification as a Certified Medical Manager (CMM), Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional (cHAP), or Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) is preferred. Technical Proficiency Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare management software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or Meditech).
