ASSISTANT MANAGER

Located at: 1020 West St, Grinnell, IA Taco John's of Iowa is looking for an Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager . This position supports the General Manager (GM) and is in charge of the restaurant when with GM is not present. The Assistant Manager may travel to other restaurants to help when needed, so having your own vehicle to use is required. Most of our positions have a senior position attached to it. If during the interview process, we feel that you are a better fit for the senior position, we will let you know. Starting pay is dependent on experience, plus there is an opportunity to make up to an additional $300 per month in performance bonus. We close on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas and close early on July 4th and on New Year's Eve so our employees can spend time with their families. Responsibilities include: Helps with the daily operations of restaurant Aids in the hiring and training a great team Manages all areas in front and back of house Ensures food quality Manages food and labor costs Guarantees the team provides great Customer Service Maintains exceptional cleanliness of the restaurant, inside and out Must be reliable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
