Electrical DesignerSeeking an experienced Electrical Designer in York, PA- $80-85k annuallyWhat's in it for you?Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday Pay401kAnd More!Electrical Designer Details:Direct Hire position$ 80,000.00 to $ 85,000.00 / annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Job description:The Electrical Designer will work closely with the Electrical Drafter(s), Controls Engineer(s), and Management to detail new equipment as well as existing equipment for both custom and standard products is fully functional.Responsibilities:Detail electrical sensors for conveyors and equipment using company standards and direction from engineers and managementProduce wiring diagrams, panel and electrical assemblies, and arrangement drawings required for cable fabrication.Assist in maintaining the project schedule through communication, prioritizing activities, and resolving problems as they ariseUse technical skills to solve design problemsComplete assignments in allotted timeframe with minimal supervisionIdentify purchased materials and create purchase requisitionsElectrical Designer Qualifications:AS degree in Drafting/Engineering discipline or 3 years of relevant experienceExperience with SolidWorks - school training acceptableExperience with AutoCAD Electrical – school training acceptableWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office ProductsWillingness to learn about food processing equipment and design – will train.Sanitary design knowledge or experience preferred – will train.Must be self-motivatedEnthusiasm for electrical designWorks well as part of a teamCan also work independently with minimal directionHighly accountable: "owns" successes and mistakesCan accept and learn from constructive criticismStrong desire to learnApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
