About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Operations Program Management is a leadership role within the Tradewind Services Operations Program Management function, reporting to the Director of Operations, Program Management. This role serves as the organization’s order-to-cash subject matter expert — leading the EDI team, surfacing technology enhancement needs, helping build out a formal Sales Operations construct, and serving as the trusted relationship point between Operations and brand leadership. This is a hands-on role: the Senior Manager is expected to roll up their sleeves and personally work EDI processing and account issues alongside the team whenever volume, absences, or escalations require it.

Areas of Responsibility:

Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead, coach, and develop the EDI team, setting individual and team performance goals, conducting regular one-on-ones, and leading formal mid-year and annual performance reviews.
• Oversee the team’s day-to-day execution of EDI processing, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant order flow across all accounts, and personally stepping in to process transactions or cover open volume during peak periods, absences, or escalations.
• Own the chargeback and non-compliance resolution process at a program level, tracking trends across the account portfolio and reporting findings and recommendations to the Director of Operations, Program Management.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex account or integration issues, and own relationships with third-party EDI platform providers.
• Partner with and provide oversight and support to the Inventory Optimization Manager on allocation decisions, helping align allocation priorities with order flow, fulfillment needs, and account-specific requirements.

Order-to-Cash & Program Management

• Serve as the department’s order-to-cash subject matter expert, standardizing core processes, reporting, and KPIs — such as order processing accuracy, on-time EDI transmission, and chargeback rate — across the full order-to-cash lifecycle.
• Own orderbook visibility and on-time-in-full (OTIF) reporting across TWS Clients, partnering with Planning, Distribution, and Sales to identify fulfillment risk and drive resolution.
• Support End of Month Landing alignment as it relates to EDI readiness, identifying risks and opportunities tied to product availability and DC capacity.

Technology & Change Management

• Serve as a technology first-responder for EDI systems issues, driving initial troubleshooting and escalating to the Director of Operations, Program Management or outsourced platform providers as needed to minimize impact to business operations.
• Support ERP and platform implementation and testing efforts as a subject matter expert on EDI and order-to-cash processes, ensuring changes are adopted with minimal disruption to order flow.
• Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations, Program Management.

Sales Operations & Brand Partnerships

• Partner with the Director of Operations, Program Management to help build out a formal Sales Operations construct, defining process, ownership, and reporting structure as the function matures.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between Operations and brand/Sales leadership, building trusted relationships and aligning order flow and compliance priorities with brand-specific needs.
• Support new account and new brand onboarding, ensuring Sales Operations and EDI setup align with account requirements and go-live timelines.
• Represent Operations in cross-functional forums, presenting performance data and recommendations to brand and Sales leadership.
• Support the international/intercompany operations and sales teams with best practice, guidance and support from HQ as appropriate as these functions mature at our overseas subsidiaries.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of experience in EDI, order-to-cash, or operations within a wholesale, retail, or consumer goods environment.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing or leading a team, with demonstrated success in coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a subject matter expert on order-to-cash processes, with a track record of building or scaling a new operations function.
• Deep working knowledge of EDI transaction sets (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 860, 870, 846, 832, 997).
• Hands-on experience with EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce, GXS, DSCO, or DIcentral required.
• Experience with major wholesale/retail accounts and their retailer-specific compliance, routing, and chargeback/deduction requirements.
• ERP experience (Full Circle, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) required, including experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and recommending system enhancements; proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable navigating multiple systems and vendor portals concurrently.
• Experience partnering with Sales or Sales Operations teams and building relationships with brand or account leadership.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including experience presenting performance data — using BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau a plus — and recommendations to leadership.
• Actively seeks out AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies, adapting quickly to leverage them for improved productivity, deeper insights, and more effective processes, while exercising sound judgment and maintaining compliance with organizational standards

Location & Office Structure:

This is an in-office hybrid position, minimum of 4 days per week, in Irvine, CA and subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.

Compensation : The salary range for this position is $111,000 to $140,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
