Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: AMN Program - Avera Health and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Avera Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. Experience across all age ranges required. Holter monitors/ziopatches, telemed, and home sleep study setup experience may be flexible depending on the candidate and can be taught easily and quickly.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ICU/ER/MedSurg/Peds/LD with neonate experience is a plus.

Unit Details: Works across outpatient, med/surg, ICU, ED, OB, and pediatrics. Outpatient duties include PFTs, holter monitors/ziopatches, telemed with pulmonary physician, home sleep study instruction, and stress tests. OB coverage includes high-risk deliveries and c-sections.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends. Overnight on-call from 7p-6a.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead references required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
