Director, Field Reimbursement Capabilities - East

Amgen seeks a Director of Field Reimbursement Capabilities for the East region to lead a respiratory reimbursement organization, translate enterprise access strategy into regional execution, and develop strong field-based leaders. The role combines strategic oversight with deep reimbursement expertise to optimize patient access and organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Senior Managers who oversee Field Reimbursement Managers; set vision, operating model, and performance expectations
• Translate enterprise access strategy into consistent regional execution and accountability across the organization
• Use market intelligence, analytics, and performance data to identify access barriers and drive improvements
• Maintain expertise in specialty pharmacy and buy-and-bill reimbursement, dual-benefit products, and payer trends
• Conduct regular field visits to coach leaders, assess execution, and reinforce organizational priorities

Requirements

• Master's degree and 5+ years customer service/leadership experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
• 8+ years progressive field leadership, market access, reimbursement, or healthcare experience
• Demonstrated leadership of field-based teams with direct management of people leaders or managers
• Deep expertise in both Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill reimbursement models
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with ability to use data for decision-making
• Knowledge of payer policy, coverage, coding, and reimbursement landscapes
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to travel up to 50%
