The faculty will lead clinical consultation efforts with the pediatric and adolescent population in the outpatient setting and work closely with the Division Chief and an interdisciplinary team of developmental behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, nursing and social work staff. Responsibilities Lead clinical consultation efforts with pediatric and adolescent populations in the outpatient setting. Collaborate closely with the Division Chief and an interdisciplinary team of developmental behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, nursing and social work staff. Provide assessment and consultation services for youth with or at risk for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. Participate in educational and training opportunities for students and community members. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in applied psychology. Current license or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina. Broad clinical experience in assessment and consultation for ASD and IDD. Experience working in an interdisciplinary health‑care setting, preferably academic or medical. Record of providing education/training at university or community level. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Two or more years of post‑doctoral experience specializing in intellectual and developmental disabilities. Experience with intervention services (preferred). Experience within LEND and/or UCEDD programs. Prior teaching and supervision of graduate‑level students.
