LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

SALARY: $110,000 – $135,000 + Benefits + Vehicle Allowance

Position Overview

The Commercial Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities for commercial construction and interior build-out projects throughout the Atlanta metro area. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards.

The Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, clients, inspectors, and internal teams to coordinate daily field operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, scheduling, quality control, and communication.

Projects will primarily be based in and around Atlanta, with minimal regional travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all field operations for commercial construction and interior build-out projects from mobilization through closeout
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and on-site personnel
• Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager
• Lead daily site meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and safety meetings
• Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Monitor daily progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and field challenges
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, inspections, site photos, and punch lists
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards on all job sites
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes and project requirements
• Assist with project planning, sequencing, logistics, and site coordination
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation
• Identify and resolve field issues in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with Project Managers on manpower planning, scheduling updates, and forecasting
• Support project closeout activities including punch list completion and final turnover

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Experience managing ground-up commercial projects and commercial interior build-outs required
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on active job sites
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe jobsite
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
• Experience working on projects in the Atlanta market preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
