Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00–18:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit, with postpartum experience preferred
• Care for high-risk OB patients within a culturally diverse population
• Circulate on cesarean sections as required
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
• Meet weekend staffing requirements as needed
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN state license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and other specialty-relevant certifications as required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with high-risk OB populations
• Experience circulating in cesarean section procedures
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
