Our client is a leading $50B+ global enterprise undergoing significant investment in AI and digital transformation initiatives. They are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help design and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

You will be part of a hands-on team that builds AI products and ships them into production. We transform fragmented data and unstructured information into reliable systems that generate measurable outcomes. In this role, you will design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions, establish the engineering rigor required for production deployment, and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to bring the latest AI capabilities into real-world use.

Key Responsibilities

Agentic AI Development

Design, implement, and optimize agentic workflows that orchestrate tools, sub-agents, and multi-step reasoning processes to deliver reliable, auditable outcomes for business users.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

Build robust RAG pipelines and context-engineering strategies that ground large language model outputs in enterprise knowledge, improving accuracy and reducing hallucinations.

Evaluation & Quality

Develop evaluation frameworks, ground-truth datasets, regression suites, and LLM-based evaluation systems that ensure consistent performance and measurable improvements over time.

Production Software Engineering

Transform prototypes into reliable production services with structured outputs, well-defined interfaces, testing frameworks, monitoring, and traceability.

Platform Integration & Observability

Integrate AI solutions with cloud-native platforms and enterprise systems. Implement CI/CD practices and establish observability for cost, latency, caching, usage, and evaluation metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with subject matter experts, product leaders, and technical teams to translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable AI solutions.

Secure & Scalable Deployment

Design and implement secure, scalable AI architectures using modern inference platforms, governance frameworks, and deployment best practices.

Continuous Innovation

Stay current with advancements in AI, evaluate emerging techniques and tooling, and continuously improve systems through experimentation and applied research.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

• Deep understanding of modern AI systems, including machine learning, neural networks, transformers, statistics, evaluation methodologies, and large language models.

• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI applications utilizing:

• Agentic workflow

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Tool use and function calling

• Structured outputs

• Multi-agent orchestration

• Strong understanding of modern AI integration patterns, including tool ecosystems, context engineering, agent communication, and orchestration frameworks.

• Demonstrated success delivering production software using AI-assisted development workflows while maintaining engineering best practices, including testing, code review, evaluation, documentation, and traceability.

• Experience designing and implementing evaluation frameworks, benchmarking systems, regression testing, and performance measurement methodologies for AI applications.

• Strong Python development experience, including API development, packaging, validation, automation, and testing.

• Experience deploying and operating cloud-native applications using modern cloud platforms and containerized infrastructure.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and presenting technical solutions to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience training, fine-tuning, distilling, or optimizing machine learning models.

• Familiarity with managed AI platforms, enterprise AI infrastructure, and model-serving environments.

• Experience building and deploying end-to-end software solutions from concept through production.

• Full-stack experience sufficient to support lightweight user interfaces and internal applications when required.

• Experience operating in complex enterprise environments with large-scale data, security, and governance requirements.

• Passion for applying advanced AI technologies to solve meaningful business problems.
