Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to develop, implement, and coordinate individualized treatment programs for adults and families dealing with acute or chronic mental health issues.

  • Utilize community resources, along with public and private agency support, to enhance treatment plans and facilitate external referrals as necessary.
  • \n
  • Participate in case review meetings and provide outpatient psychotherapy to various demographics, including individuals, couples, and groups, promoting continuity of care.
  • \n
  • Develop educational materials and conduct psychoeducational classes aimed at increasing understanding and compliance among clients and their families regarding mental health and treatment regimens.
  • \n
  • Monitor progress, prepare clinical documentation such as intake summaries and treatment plans, while ensuring compliance with state guidelines and NCQA regulations.
  • \n
  • Provide supervisory oversight to Post Masters Fellows or Associate Clinical Counselors as necessary, contributing to their professional development.
  • \n
  • Remain vigilant regarding safety concerns within the clinical setting, promptly reporting any issues to the appropriate authorities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will possess the skills to work closely with a diverse range of clients, addressing various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will engage with individuals across different ages and backgrounds, providing tailored support and interventions designed to empower clients in their journey toward mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.
  • \n
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to mental health care.

  • A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining patient confidentiality, and providing high-quality care.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in community health settings or outpatient therapy is highly desirable.

  • Prior involvement in program development, implementation, or evaluation within similar organizations.

  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
