Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Heavy Equipment Operator/Material Handler in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities: Keeps materials organized in a central laydown area and maintains inventory of stocked materials. Delivers materials from the laydown area to specific work locations as requested by field leaders. Maintains a clean and safe work environment by organizing materials, removing debris, and recycling waste. Operates on-site equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and aerial lift platforms. Reports discrepancies or issues related to equipment operation to supervisors promptly. Assists with inventory tracking, ensuring accurate record-keeping of materials and tools. Supports logistics and warehouse teams by coordinating material movement as needed. Communicates effectively with field leaders and team members to fulfill material requests. Adheres to safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for all materials and equipment. Performs other general labor tasks as assigned to support site operations.

• Promote a safe work environment and communicate jobsite hazards. This includes helping to secure the jobsite at the end of business each day and verifying that all site materials are properly stored.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to talk or hear, sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of time
• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
• Must be able to work around wood dust and fumes
• Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be aware of OSHA safety standards

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is $25 to $30 per hour. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
