We are looking for aVehicle Product Specialist who enjoys working with people, learning new technology, and helping customers feel confident with their vehicles.

If you arefriendly, knowledgeable, patient, and comfortable explaining technology and vehicle features, you'll fit well with our team. You should enjoy answering questions, demonstrating features, and finding simple ways to help customers understand everything their vehicle has to offer.

What You'll Do

As a Vehicle Product Specialist, you will help customers understand, enjoy, and confidently use their vehicles while supporting a smooth and professional dealership experience.

Your work will include:
  • Deliver new and Certified Pre-Owned vehicles while providing a professional, personalized delivery experience
  • Demonstrate key vehicle features, technology, controls, and available services based on each customer's needs
  • Set up and explain OnStar, My Rewards, connected services, and other applicable vehicle technology
  • Use Zip Deal and other dealership tools to focus the delivery on the features and information most important to each customer
  • Answer customer questions and provide additional product support after delivery
  • Assist Service Department customers with questions about vehicle features, technology, and proper vehicle operation
  • Create helpful instructional content with the Marketing team, including videos addressing common customer questions and vehicle features
  • Stay current on vehicle technology, features, connected services, and product updates
  • Safely move vehicles between sales areas, service areas, delivery locations, and other dealership locations as needed
  • Support vehicle flow throughout the dealership to help maintain an organized and efficient operation
  • Provide customer courtesy washes and ensure vehicles are clean and presentable
  • Maintain the organization, security, and proper care of customer vehicles throughout the dealership
  • Work closely with Sales, Service, and other dealership teams to create a seamless customer experience

  • Works well with Sales, Service, Marketing, and other dealership teams
  • Is dependable, punctual, and committed to providing an exceptional experience
Requirements
  • Commitment to Cavender Auto Group's core values and mission
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable learning and demonstrating automotive technology
  • Ability to safely operate and move dealership vehicles
  • Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen prior to employment
  • Automotive, dealership, customer service, or product demonstration experience is a plus
