Sterile Processing Tech

Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT or CRCST Required)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, 40 hours per week. On-call responsibilities include participation in departmental rotation, with holiday coverage as required.

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician who holds either a CRCST or CSPDT certification. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly sterilized and prepared in a timely manner. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments according to established protocols.
• Maintain inventory of sterilized equipment and ensure proper labeling and tracking.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff within the department.
• Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• CSPDT or CRCST certification is required.
• Experience in a sterile processing department is preferred.
• Compliance with health screening requirements.
