Practice Info Located in scenic Western New York near the Pennsylvania border Olean General Hospital is a 186-bed hospital Provides care to more than 160,000 residents across southwestern New York and northwestern Pennsylvania Care team model focuses on giving everyone a collaborative voice Responsibilities Case assignments: General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, endo, vascular, GI, Urology, and Podiatry Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Compensation Salary: $568,000 per year Sign-On Bonus package up to $100,000 Training Assistance or Loan Repayment Programs Benefits Generous benefits package: PTO, Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) and Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Requirements M.D./D.O.
