Job Title: Controller Location: Warrendale, PA Compensation: $110K–$125K + discretionary bonus Overview We are seeking a hands‑on Controller to serve as the lead accounting and finance professional for a growing operating company. This individual will oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, manage a small team, and partner with leadership on financial reporting, cash flow management, and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and month‑end close Manage and mentor a team of 2 accounting/clerical staff Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and borrowing base reporting Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including variance analysis and covenant tracking Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial reporting Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Manage multi‑state sales/use tax and corporate tax filings Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit/review process Establish and enhance internal controls and accounting processes Oversee accounts receivable aging and collections efforts Maintain and evolve the chart of accounts as the business grows Support inventory tracking and reporting Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and operational initiatives Qualifications 7+ years of accounting experience with 3–5+ years in a leadership role Strong background in full‑cycle accounting within an operating company Experience managing month‑end close, financial reporting, and cash flow Knowledge of multi‑state tax compliance High proficiency in Excel Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ideal Candidate Profile Hands‑on, detail‑oriented Controller who can own the entire accounting function Experience in small to mid‑sized companies where wearing multiple hats is required Comfortable working closely with executive leadership and supporting business decisions Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to build and refine controls #J-18808-Ljbffr Vaco Recruiter Services
