Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing clinical guidance, ensuring medication safety, and delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate possesses strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Counsel patients regarding medication use, side effects, interactions, and adherence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and identify potential drug interactions or contraindications.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide immunizations and other clinical services, as permitted by state regulations.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Manage inventory levels, medication storage, and controlled substance records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

Qualifications

Required

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and pharmacy regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
