Job Title: Scientist I – Lentiviral Vector Testing (Cell & Gene Therapy)

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $36.52/hr
Duration: 12-month contract
Employer: ATR International (on behalf of our client, a biopharmaceutical company)

About the Role

ATR International is seeking an early-career Scientist to join our client's team supporting internal lentiviral vector programs. In this role, you'll perform release, characterization, and stability testing to support process development and discovery teams. This is a hands-on, bench-focused position for someone who wants to grow their skills in viral vector analytics while working closely with a collaborative, cross-functional team.

What You'll Do

• Perform release, characterization, and stability testing of lentiviral products, including Western Blot, ELISA/AlphaLISA, PCR-based methods, flow cytometry, particle analysis, and cell-based viral titration
• Communicate scientific data clearly through data presentations, protocols, test methods, and development reports
• Contribute to the development of novel methods for quantitating lentiviral product strength, safety, purity, and identity

What You'll Bring

• BS degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Biopharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Experience characterizing viral vectors using cell-based, molecular (qPCR/ddPCR), and/or traditional biochemical methods
• Exposure to developing procedures for GLP and/or cGMP environments a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills; able to design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments with limited oversight
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; comfortable in a timeline-driven, fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
