Job Details Location: Monona, WI 53713 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Shift: Day Category: Admin - Client Care Specialist Madison Veterinary Specialists is growing! In addition to building a beautiful new facility, we are seeking full-time or part-time Client Care Specialists (CCS) who are passionate about helping clients and pets when they need us most. Responsibilities Ensuring delivery of exceptional service to all Madison Veterinary Specialists clients. Serving as the first point of contact for clients walking through the door. Providing exceptional customer service; helping clients and their pets in an effective, efficient, and friendly manner. Strong client communication; working with team members to provide knowledgeable assistance to clients with the proper attitude, ensuring clients feel cared for and respected. Multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Providing excellent telephone communication; engaging and actively listening so the client feels understood. Having confidential financial discussions with clients, collecting payments, making change, and reconciling daily receipts. Scheduling client appointments for all service departments. Position Requirements Experience: Prior veterinary CCS or assisting experience with a high client volume veterinary practice. Education: Completion of 4 years of high school or equivalent is required. Physical: Must have the strength and stamina to work on feet and/or remain stationary at the front desk throughout shift. Ergonomic: Employee must be capable of safely working in an environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials, infectious and zoonotic diseases. Other: Strong sense of helping clients and caring for animals; must assist with emergency or critical-care patients as needed; maintain strict confidentiality regarding client and patient information; ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate while maintaining composure in stressful situations. Desired Experience Greater than 1 year experience working in veterinary specialty and emergency in a Client Care Specialist position. Experience working with ImproMed Infinity software.
