Executive Steward

White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning, premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in some of the country's best cities to live. As an Executive Steward, you'll lead and motivate the stewarding/dishwashing team, ensuring that essential back-of-house operations run smoothly and efficiently while supporting overall guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of dishwashers by understanding business needs and planning weekly tasks.
• Determine and schedule associates to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Ensure supplies of china, glassware, and silverware are transported daily to key operational areas based on business needs.
• Assist with inventory and maintain proper inventory levels, working with Food and Beverage leaders to order additional inventory as needed.
• Promote teamwork within the department and encourage collaboration with other operational departments.

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required; experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed and be on call for issues as they arise.
