As a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst, you'll bring your hands-on experience with enterprise security environments to a new frontier: training and evaluating AI systems designed to detect, classify, and respond to real-world threats. Your expertise directly shapes how the next generation of AI understands network defense, endpoint security, and infrastructure risk. Organization : Alignerr Type : Hourly Contract Location : Remote Commitment : 10-40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios drawn from real enterprise environments Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to identify what went wrong and why Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on realistic operational data Create, label, and validate security datasets used to train and evaluate AI-driven security systems Clearly articulate security issues, root causes, and business impact in structured formats Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles Familiar with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise tooling Strong understanding of how real organizations deploy and operate security controls Able to explain complex security concepts clearly and concisely - both technically and in plain language Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in an async environment Nice to Have Experience in threat hunting, incident response, or vulnerability management Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Controls Background in security architecture, red/blue team operations, or SOC analysis Prior experience contributing to AI, data labeling, or security research projects Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI projects with top-tier research labs and teams Fully remote and async - work on your schedule, from anywhere Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Use your real-world security expertise to make a meaningful impact on how AI handles threats Potential for ongoing work and contract extension Alignerr
