Rate: $18.00/Hour Location: Cleveland, OH 44115 Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Length: 3+ Month Assignment

We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Patient Support Representative/Medical Receptionist to support a busy healthcare clinic in Cleveland. This role is ideal for candidates with healthcare or medical office experience who enjoy helping patients, coordinating appointments, and providing excellent front-desk support.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls, and take messages.
• Schedule medical, behavioral health, and dental appointments.
• Enter, update, and verify patient information within EPIC and other electronic systems.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and patient coverage.
• Collect co-pays, balances, and patient payments.
• Obtain signatures for required forms and documentation.
• Scan and upload documents into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Make appointment reminder calls.
• Assist with patient flow by coordinating communication between patients, providers, nurses, and support staff.
• Help connect patients with internal programs and resources.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous healthcare, medical reception, patient access, or medical office experience preferred.
• Experience verifying insurance coverage, benefits, and co-pays preferred.
• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems; EPIC experience is a plus.
• Strong data entry, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
