Technologists are also required to maintain necessary patient records and participate in the department’s Performance Imp y examinations for young adult through geriatric patients. Technologists provide patient care services using diagnostic imaging modalities. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, operating Fuji C movement program. Proficiency in PACS. The mammography technologist is responsible for maintaining the department’s mammography program for ACR/MQSA accreditation. Technologists also function as instructors for students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program. Responsibilities Performs mammography and radiologic examinations. Maintains mammography program records for ACR/MQSA Tasks are usually completed accurately and promptly Performs daily check of equipment, accessories and supplies Prepares and administers barium preparations & other contrast agents, or chemical mixtures with no more than 1 inaccurately prepared each year Performs related duties as required Qualifications Required: Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program with an Associate degree or equivalent. Experience: Up to one year experience is required Licensure/Certification: Registered with ARRT in Mammography, or registry-eligible with registration complete within one year of employment. American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire. SCRQSA required. Preferred: Experience: 1 to 2 years is preferred Organization Description Piedmont Medical Network has served the community of York County and beyond for more than 30 years.
