Cook / Kitchen Help
Location: Barre, MA
Job Type: Part-Time (Days/Times TBD, Current days of operation Thurs-Sun)
About Us
We are a newly opened, family-owned bar and restaurant with a close-knit team. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to add to our kitchen crew. We operate in a fast-paced environment at times, but we are more than willing to train the right candidate!
Role & Responsibilities
Line Cooking & Prep: Prepare customer orders, assist on the line, and cook items using ovens, stovetops, and flat tops. Experience with deep fryers a plus!
Station Management: Prepare, stock, and maintain your respective work station. Wrap and rotate station items at the end of the night.
Order Fulfillment: Ensure all orders are made in a timely manner, bag online orders, and occasionally run food to customers.
Cleanliness & Sanitation: Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines, prevent cross-contamination, wear gloves during food prep, maintain personal hygiene, and keep work stations sanitary. Participate in daily cleaning tasks and regular deep cleanings.
Teamwork: Communicate effectively with staff, maintain a positive work culture, and handle a quick workflow with multitasking abilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Age: Must be 18+
Experience: At least 1 year in the food service industry or related field ( preferred ); experience in a pizzeria setting is a big plus.
Certifications: ServSafe preferred, though we are willing to work with the right candidate to help them obtain certification.
