Our family owned retail tire and automotive repair shop is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the appropriate tires and automotive products, providing quotes, and processing sales transactions. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the appropriate tires and automotive products based on their needs and preferences.
• Provide accurate and timely quotes for products and services.
• Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and financing options.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized store appearance.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and repair.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for periods of time.
