Shipping & Receiving / Assembly Technician- Heavy Duty Forklift! - Will pay up to $27/hr

Location: Chaska MN

We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving / Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced, team-oriented shop. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, operating equipment, and being involved in the full process—from receiving materials to assembling and preparing products for shipment.

You’ll play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly across shipping, receiving, assembly, and warehouse operations .

Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving

• Load/unload trucks (flatbed, LTL, UPS, FedEx)
• Operate forklifts, jib cranes, and overhead hoists
• Verify incoming materials against packing lists and report discrepancies
• Label, organize, and store inventory in proper locations
• Maintain accurate receiving logs and paperwork

Assembly & Warehouse

• Assemble equipment and components using basic shop drawings
• Perform quality checks on measurements and builds
• Stage completed assemblies for shipment
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
• Maintain organization of tools, parts, and work areas

Material Handling & Shop Support

• Transport materials throughout the shop floor
• Support fabrication and paint departments as needed
• Prepare materials and projects for production teams
• Keep warehouse and yard clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with general labor tasks and seasonal duties (including snow removal)

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
