Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, implementing individualized care plans, and fostering a safe, trauma-informed environment. DOE/ppMental Health Aide II/pulliMust meet the requirements and demonstrate the competencies to be credentialed as a qualified mental health associate (QMHA)./liliRequired: Bachelors degree in an approved behavioral science field from an accredited college or university or three years of mental health work experience./liliRequired: Certification must be current and in compliance with MHACBO./li/ulpCompensation: Base pay $24.81/hr. to $25.84/hr. DOE/ppExperience:/pulliExperience in a residential mental health setting and providing skills training services is preferred but not required./li/ulpSpecialized Skills and Knowledge:/pulliProficient verbal and written communication skills./liliBasic knowledge of trauma informed care (TIC), motivational interviewing, and evidence-based practices./liliBasic understanding of recovery models, illness management, and strength-based philosophies./liliKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word Excel)./li/ulpOther:/pulliCPR certification (training provided post-hire)./li/ulpWhat is Per Diem Staffing?/ppPer diem staff work on an as-needed basis to provide coverage when regular staff are unavailable or when program needs increase. This flexible role allows you to contribute meaningfully to client care within your assigned pod./pulliAllowance: Per diem staff receive an additional $2.00 per hour on top of base pay, in lieu of benefits./liliRequirement: Per diem staff must work a minimum of 12 shifts per quarter./liliShift Structures: Per diem staff may be scheduled for any of the following shifts:/liulliDay shift: 7:00 am 3:30 pm/liliSwing shift: 3:00 pm 11:30 pm/liliOvernight shift: 11:00 pm 7:30 am/liliNote: There may be small variations in shift times depending on the site./li/ul/ulpWhere youll be working/pulliSecure residential/liliPsychiatric security review board (PSRB) may require driving depending on site assignment/liliSupportive housing/liliMultnomah county licensed residential/liliClackamas county licensed residential/liliRespite/li/ulpApplication process: After submitting your application, you will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire.
